DOMINIQUE GENTILLON

 With German /Chilean roots I am a nomad soul that has traveled a lot and lived in many places like Chile, Belgium, France and currently living in The Netherlands with my Dutch partner and daughter.

As an interior designer, classic Feng Shui student/practitioner and traveler I am passionate about different cultures and their way of living and especially their interiors. How they have been evolving through time and how they are so specially bonded to the person(s) who inhabits them.

I have always liked the use and feel of natural materials in the space. I love to be outside surrounded by nature feeling the peace and focus that brings me. And being able to bring that feeling inside is what guided me to study "Biophilic Design" – a more natural and sustainable way of creating, building and designing spaces.

I am also a "human to human" kind of person who loves to connect with people and try to find ways to improve their lives through "interior design psychology". Using holistic techniques I get to know my clients on a deeper level so I can create interiors that fit their special needs and personalities much better than just following some trends.

2 years ago I started my design studio - Studio Nalca with a mission: to connect nature with people in their living spaces. Introducing a more natural way of living, thinking, and taking care of our environment and therefore taking care of our selves; so that we can live a better, happier, and healthier life.

We need and deserve to reconnect again with our roots and live and work in a happy place that nurtures our senses in every way possible.

I love to be part of this community of like-minded people, where I can contribute my grain of salt and continue my learning path in this journey called life!
